todo

  • Lintian reports 1 error and 3 warnings about this package. You should make the package lintian clean getting rid of them.
  • The package should be updated to follow the last version of Debian Policy (Standards-Version 4.7.0 instead of 3.9.3).
  • This package has "Build-Depends: cdbs" while cdbs needs a new maintainer, see O #1026085.

problems

  • The package is severely out of date with respect to the Debian Policy. Latest version is 4.7.0 and your package only follows 3.9.3...
  • There were override disparities found in suite unstable:
    • edac-utils: Override says admin - optional, .deb says admin - extra
    • libedac1: Override says libs - optional, .deb says libs - extra
    • libedac1-dbg: Override says debug - optional, .deb says debug - extra
    • libedac-dev: Override says libdevel - optional, .deb says libdevel - extra
  • The package has a debian/watch file, but the last attempt to use it for checking for newer upstream versions failed with an error:
In debian/watch no matching files for watch line https://github.com/grondo/edac-utils/tags .*/tarball/(\d[\d\.a-z]+)
