* Added syslogd-listfiles.
* Moved /etc/syslog.conf to /etc/msyslog.conf. The preinst is supposed
to cp syslog.conf msyslog.conf on upgrade.
* Changed emphasis in the descriptions of the database logging modules
to "remote", and clearly stated that the startup order needs to be
changed in order for local database logging to work. closes:

* introduced read-syslog(8).
* wrote update-syslogrotate(8). It can automagically set all the files
read-syslog finds up for rotation by logrotate, while still being
easily overrideable.
* init-script: runs update-syslogrotate at start, restart and reload.
* logrotate.d/msyslog: does hardly more than source
/var/lib/msyslog/logrotate.auto now. Update-syslogrotate will simply skip
files the user enters here.
* There is no Provides: cruft anymore, system-log-daemon dependencies should really be fixed by now.
* Ripped out the entire log rotation stuff and put it in syslog-common.
* update-syslogrotate and logrotate -f are now called on start and reload
(init-script). This seems to be the only way to make shure that all
logfiles exist when syslogd is started.
