  • Incorporate and acknowledge the changes from the non maintainer upload.
  • The package should be updated to follow the last version of Debian Policy (Standards-Version 4.7.0 instead of 4.1.1).
  • This package has "Depends: zfs-fuse" while zfs-fuse needs a new maintainer, see O #834130.

problems

  • There were override disparities found in suite unstable:
    • zfsnap: Override says admin - optional, .deb says admin - extra

autoremoval from testing

  • Version 1.11.1-8.1 of zfsnap is marked for autoremoval from testing on 2024-04-26.
  • It depends (transitively) on libnbd and zfs-linux, affected by RC bug(s) 1066766 and 1067088
  • You should try to prevent the removal from testing by fixing these bugs.
